2010 Artful Adventure trip dates will be available in February!

Certainly paddling along a spectacular shoreline is fantastic in itself, but great moments can be further enhanced when they go hand in paddle with creativity.

Just ask Dale Thomas, Lynn Baur, Jose Sanchez and Beth Lowthian. Our staff of artistic paddlers got a clue about the mandala of art and outdoor adventure long ago in their lives and are with us this summer to share their adventurous perspectives with you.

Jill Lawrence (our cover artist) was greatly moved by her experience paddling at the sea caves and wanted to ‘record those impressions in an image', and she did so with her camera lens. You may be more attracted to grabbing a pen and writing your impressions, or a brush to paint your vision, or perhaps what enhances your trip is the sensory aroma of coal roasted chile rellenos over an evening campfire. Yoga at dawn on a remote island beach provides a wonderful space to integrate your experience.

** No previous experience required for kayaking or creativity workshops. Experienced paddlers and artists are encouraged to join us and enjoy the trip at your own level.
